<ol>
<li>In a bowl, combine flour, dry milk, salt, nutmeg, cinnamon, baking powder and baking soda. Set Aside.</li>
<li>Combine vinegar and water in a measuring cup. Set Aside.</li>
<li>In mixer bowl, blend together the oil, brown sugar and granulated sugar on low speed for 1 minute.</li>
<li>Add eggs and continue to blend on low speed for 1 minute.</li>
<li>While mixer is on low speed, add the dry ingredients alternately with the water and vinegar to oil-sugar mixture.</li>
</ol>
Scrape down bowl, then blend on medium speed for 1 additional minute.</td> </tr>

<li>Evenly divide batter between 2 greased 9"x 9" pans. Sprinkle 3/4 cup topping evenly over batter in each pan.</li>
<li>Bake until tooth pick comes out clean when inserted in the center of cake.</li>

<br /> <strong><u>TOPPING:</u></strong><br />
<ol>
<li>In mixer bowl, combine all ingredients except oil. Blend on low Speed for 1 minute.</li>
<li>Add oil gradually and continue to blend until topping is crumbly.</li>

Mr. Rendonhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17299297498859795642noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2994982209936519089.post-12356162038595727412010-02-26T14:52:00.000-08:002010-03-12T09:20:56.586-08:00Chow Mein RecipeIngredients:<br /><br />Chow Mein Noodles 1-2 bags (fresh)<br />Oyster Sauce (Lee Kum Kee)<br />Sesame Oil<br />Vegetable Oil<br /><br />Fresh:<br />Carrots (Cut into diagonal slices then cut slices into strips)<br />String Beans (cut diagonally)<br />Broccoli (optional)<br />Fried Tofu (Semi-frim) to fry and brown the block of tofu (pat dry with napkin prior to browning) Slice tofu block into thumb-thick chunck, brown in pan then thinly slice.<br /><br />Meats:<br />Shrimp<br />Chicken (thin strips)<br />Beef (thinly sliced beef) (flank stakes)<br /><br />Process:<br />Cook in parts<br />1. Boil chow mein noodles (don't over cook)<br />2. Fry noodles, using part vegetable oil and part sesame oil. Add a little Oyster sauce to help brown the noodles. Place in bowl when done.<br />3. Saute the vegetables, salt and pepper, add some Oyster sauce. Place in bowl with noodles.<br />4. Cut browned tofu into slices and stir fry with salt and pepper and sesame oil.<br />5. Cook pre-seasoned meats . ( season with Salt n pepper but not oyster sauce.) Add oyster sauce in pan and corn starch to reduce liquid.<br />6.
